Belohradský Štefan (1930)

Štefan Belohradský understood fine art to be a free and independent spiritual activity, upon which a new picture of the world opened, not only for the author alone, but also to the art perceiver. In addition, this applied even more to an artist who, initially upon an education of architecture and later sculpture. This intellectual base was his keypoint in his artworks, from it´s he steped out with own artist´s program connected with geometry and constructive tendencies in picture, object, spatial relations to viewer. Belohradský came to the scene in the 60´s of 20Th Century with new conception of space, size, form, and tectonics, as well as new relation between sculpture and architecture, and the resulting environment of the current time.
